Dr. Hanley’s Obesity Board Certification comes after completing a year-long fellowship and a rigorous four-hour board examination. She fellowship trained with The Obesity Medicine Association (OMA) and was Board Certified by the American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM). Her fellowship training and Board Certification recognize obesity as a unique disease process and focus on the four key pillars of obesity management:
Dr. Hanley explains, “These are principles we’ve always emphasized, but I wanted to formalize my knowledge base and ensure we’re offering our patients the full scope of evidence-based treatment. I also pursued this official accreditation to further strengthen my ability to help patients in their weight management journeys.”
Dr. Hanley is now triple board-certified. She is a Mayo Clinic-trained Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician providing specialized treatments in traditional Eastern and innovative Western medicine. As La Boussole’s Medical Director, Dr. Hanley oversees all medical operations and patient services and provides wellness and weight loss counseling. She also performs medical spa services, including GLP-1 receptor agonist injections, IV Infusion Therapy, Acupuncture, Cupping, Moxibustion, Emsculpt NEO treatments for fat loss and muscle building, and Emsella treatments for incontinence and sexual health.
